ToolbagsPLUS is family business, situated on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The idea to produce of a range of top quality specialist tool bags came, as most great ideas come, from a point of necessity. As a Woodworker and Furniture Maker of over 20 years I take great pride in the appearance and performance of the Hand Tools I use. Stored correctly, not exposed to the elements and for the most part, when not in use, hanging up in The Workshop dry and sheltered. Yet after an absence of several months I returned to discover, to my dismay, that even though all precautions had been taken many tools had attracted the unwanted frosting of surface rust, that orange peril known to be the scourge of all things shiny and sharp. Not only does it involve time and effort to remove and then restore back to condition, time I would rather spend using them, but from as collector’s point of view it detracts from their appearance which can seriously affects their value. As a result of wanting to protect my own tools and investments our current range of products came into being. The finished articles we now produce, I am happy to say, are a far cry from the crude attempts and prototypes that were first designed with just my personal use in mind. As a result of those early offering, we have dedicated oursleves to designing and making custom made, high quality items for the discerning Woodworker, Hand Tool Collector and Enthusiast. Always seeking new ways to increase our range we welcome any input you have to offer. We can do "one off" items as well as catering to woodworking groups and or classes with embroidery as Individual as you are.
